Shalom Baby
Shalom Baby, offered through The Macks Center for Jewish Education (CJE), and supported by the JCC of Greater Baltimore, brings childbirth education and newborn classes to expectant and new parents. The four session Shalom Baby class integrates traditional childbirth and postpartum education with Jewish spiritual wisdom. Participants will learn the equivalent content of 3 hospital classes: Childbirth Education, Infant/Child CPR and First Aid, and Infant Care. (Expectant moms who plan on breastfeeding will still need to enroll in that class elsewhere.) The Shalom Baby experience also enables expectant and new parents to connect with each other as they share the journey into parenthood.
Once the baby(ies) is/are born, join the complimentary 3 week session of "Hello Baby" at the JCC. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with your Shalom Baby classmatess, compare birthing experiences and share your joys and challenges of new parenthood.
