PRESIDENT'S CORNER
The theme for this edition of Jewish Education Matters is "What’s New?"
King Solomon asserts in the book of Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) that "there is nothing new under the sun." That may be true in the biblical sense, but CJE board and staff members are planning for new ways to make the programs we bring to educators, the services we provide to schools and the projects we develop for the community ever more engaging and relevant.
One way we are enhancing our effectiveness is by having the most creative, diverse and energetic board possible. This year, our seasoned CJE board members will have the opportunity to work with 10 new members who bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm about Jewish education. With this new team, we think we have achieved an ideal board. We proudly welcome our new board members:....
