EARLY CHILDHOOD LAUNCHES NEW PROJECT Over the next year, DJ Schneider-Jensen, CJE’s ECE director, will make regular visits to participating schools, spending time with school leadership and teachers working through vision statements and curriculum planning, as well as self-assessments to identify areas in need of improvement. DJ will then work with these schools to make the necessary changes to improve the quality of education for their young students. |
CJE is undertaking a Curriculum Visioning Project with five early childhood education partner schools—Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Preschool, Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community Preschool, Park Heights Jewish Community Center Preschool, Temple Oheb Shalom’s Learning Ladder, and Yeshivat Rambam. The project came about in response to ECE schools requesting more guidance for both Jewish and secular curriculum development.
